Tow-Float Pro Leader Carabiner attachment to remove float easily Useful for swim guides who may need to assist others Rope around the outside of the float to assist with holding on The Tow-Float PRO is larger than the standard tow-float and features a carabiner attachment allowing you to remove the float from the leash and waistband. It is bright orange and is recommended for open water swimmers in all bodies of water to increase visibility to other open water users. The carabiner feature is useful for swim guides who may need to remove the float to attract more attention to the swim group (wave to a boat or a team on the shore), or for a guide to detach the tow-float and give to a swimmer who may need additional support. The float has a rope around the outside to assist with holding on. As with other tow-floats and dry bags in our range, the Tow-Float PRO has a double airbag system which is easily inflated and deflated, and the adjustable belt design clips securely around the swimmer's waist and the leash ensures that the product remains out of swim stroke range whilst swimming and is very low drag (you generally don't notice it is there). If you need to rest you can hold onto the float and it will easily support an adult's weight. This float is perfect for bodies of water where there are boat users to make the swimmer more visible. It's also ideal for groups of swimmers so you can be easily seen from the shore or in the water by fellow swimmers. The tow-float is recommended for taking children into the open water, as you can spot them very quickly and they can hold onto the Swim Secure tow-float if they need a rest. In the Chillswim Coniston event all 750 swimmers use the Swim Secure basic tow-float for the 5.25 mile length of lake swim. The Swim Secuere tow-float range makes it very easy for the water safety team to see the swimmers, even in choppy water, and can be used by swimmers in wetsuits or non-wetsuits.
