Wide Nose for stability and paddling power. Wide swallow tail for hold and extra surfaces area for added glide. This Bat Board from Quiksilver is 5'10 x 21 x 2 1/2 x 35 Litres with futures fin boxes. This comes with five fin boxes and can be ridden as a quad or thruster. The Bat Board is a modern design taking inspiration from Bradley surfboards. Constructed with EPS and epoxy this is part of Quiksilver's Eco-Series surfboard range. -
The Discus is the ultimate blend between introductory and advanced performance surfing. With a longer wider outline giving maximum paddling power and excellent surface area for planing the board does most of the job for you! It is the perfect step down board from a mini-mal or longboard. Satisfaction for all levels guaranteed! Slight single concave throughout maintains speed and control. Wider round tail for flow when carving EPS (Extruded Polystyrene, commonly called Styrofoam) is a very lightweight foam that we glass with Epoxy resin to create a light, responsive board that can help you get the most out of weaker, slower wave conditions. The foam itself is not as strong as traditional PU blanks, so we use a stronger Epoxy resin to make it strong enough to hold up, but still a bit lighter than PU/PE construction. The positives are mostly found in the weight, but many people also prefer the overall feeling of EPS over PU.
