The Northcore Retro Stripe 7'6 Mini-Mal Board Sock is a practical, functional piece of kit designed as a lightweight cover, shaped to fit mini-mals or longboards, to prevent minor dings and stop wax rubbing onto car seats etc during transportation. The sock is made from a super stretch towelling material which retains its "memory" so the material won't become loose ensuring your board will always have a snug fit. The nose of the sock also has added protection against dings in the form of a tough 600D material nose cone with Northcore logo.

EPS Construction
EPS (Extruded Polystyrene, commonly called Styrofoam) is a very lightweight foam, that we glass with Epoxy resin to create a light, responsive board that can help you get the most out of weaker, slower wave conditions. The foam itself is not as strong as traditional PU blanks, so we use a stronger Epoxy resin to make it strong enough to hold up, but still a bit lighter than PU/PE construction. The positives are mostly found in the weight, but many people also prefer the overall feeling of EPS over PU.
